The annual PDAC 2025 Convention – the ‘World’s Premier Mineral Exploration and Mining Convention’ – will take place from March 2-5, 2025, in Toronto, Canada. The award winning PDAC Convention is widely considered the ‘Super Bowl’ of the mineral exploration and mining community and is the leading event for people, companies and organizations connected to mineral exploration.
The convention brings together up to 30,000 attendees from more than 135 countries for its educational programming, networking events, business opportunities and fun.
Since it began in 1932, the convention has grown in size, stature and influence. Today, it is the event of choice for the world’s mineral industry hosting more than 1,100 exhibitors and 700 presenters.
The PDAC 2025 Convention will once again feature a wide range of speakers, industry experts, and facilitators who each bring their knowledge, strategies, new concepts, and case studies. There will also be more panel discussions than ever before, featuring extended Q&A opportunities, plus real-time polling, quizzes, and so much more.
World-Class Programming
Guided by PDAC’s Convention Planning Committee – a group made up of volunteers and professionals from across the mineral exploration and mining industry – the event is putting forth an exciting lineup of content that will provide hundreds of hours of acclaimed programming, in areas such as:
- Access to capital is the lifeblood of the mineral exploration industry, and Canada’s capital markets play a critical role in supporting the financing of mineral exploration in Canada and around the world. The Capital Markets Program is intended to create a forum for a dialogue on a range of topics related to the financing of mineral exploration.
- The Corporate Presentation Forum for Investors (CPFI) is a popular series that features up-to-the-minute information on select exploration and development companies’ current activities and investment potential.
- Exploration Insights is a venue for presenters with new concepts and ideas relevant to our industry today. Exploration Insights showcases high-profile technical and academic presentations that offer insight into current and topical subjects.
- For more than 20 years, the Indigenous Program at the PDAC Convention has provided a platform to discuss fostering cooperative, respectful and mutually beneficial relationships between Indigenous communities and the minerals industry.
- At the Investment Leaders Forum, join us to hear top newsletter writers and other professionals who inform investment decisions in the mining industry talk about up-and-coming companies with investment potential, offer up their opinions on what kind of ride we can expect from the markets this year, and suggest how we can think about investment in the resource sector as part of our overall investment portfolio.
- The Keynote Program features four themes designed to inspire and educate: Commodity outlook, mining industry outlook, technology and innovation, and the discovery of the year. Presenters will discuss new and exciting concepts and explore the compelling challenges of mineral exploration and development in 2025.
- The Master Class Series is an opportunity for attendees to learn from industry leaders as they share key insights and case studies throughout this exclusive series of presentations.
- With its Student & Early Career Program, the world renowned PDAC Convention offers students and early career individuals a unique opportunity to connect with industry professionals from around the globe.
- The Sustainability Program features presentations and dialogue that examine the innovative ways in which mineral exploration and mining companies are working to improve their sustainability performance, presenting challenges and successes, as well as lessons learned. - Industry experts discuss current and emerging trends, technologies, research and analysis in a dynamic series of presentations at the Technical Program, as presenters share their practical experience, insights, and a look to the future.
