THE Mining Investment Event of the North – 2025
THE Mining Investment Event of the North is Canada’s only Tier 1 global mining investment conference, and it is held annually in Québec City. THE Event hosts over 100 participating mining companies, is invitation only, and is independently sponsored by the Government of Québec, and financial and mining communities at large. It is designed to specifically facilitate privately arranged meetings between mining companies, international investors, and various mining government authorities. THE Event is committed to promoting sustainability in the mining industry via education and innovation through its unique Student Sponsorship and SHE-Co Initiatives, highlighting ESG and equality issues, and providing a platform for some of the most influential thought leaders in the sector.
Canadian Mining Expo – 2025
The 2025 Canadian Mining Expo kicks off on June 3rd with the Gala Dinner & awards night, followed by the Trade Show on June 4th and 5th at the McIntyre Complex in Timmins, Ontario. With over 400 exhibits, this event will showcase the latest innovations, products, and services in the mining industry. The Expo will also feature key conferences, including the First Nations Forum, and the Projects in the Pipeline series. Job seekers can explore career and training opportunities and submit their resumes to participating companies.
The Global Energy Show Canada
The Global Energy Show Canada features a comprehensive exhibition show floor with over 500 exhibitors across five exhibition halls and an outdoor zone. Throughout the exhibition, visitors will find North America’s greatest innovations and solutions to today’s complex issues in the entire energy value chain. COM 2025 / LightMAT 2025
The Annual Conference of Metallurgists (COM) brings together metallurgists and materials scientists from around the world. Professionals, academics, and students present their research and network with others in their field. COM is the perfect place to meet others and join the community. COM also organizes short courses and plant tours for attendees who want to dive deeper into a specific topic. The event takes place in a different major Canadian city every year.
In 2025, the 64th Annual Conference of Metallurgy and Materials and the 6th International Conference on Light Materials – Science and Technology, will be hosted together.
